Keeping Children Happy
A new partnership has been made to support families in a new and very different way. Speakup, Steps and Maltby's Stepping Stones Childrens Centre (used to be called Sure Start Maltby) are going to make some DVD's about Parenting to support families with clear and good ideas which are friendly and accessible to everyone.
They have started by making a DVD called "Keeping Children Happy". This DVD gives Parents of younger children good ideas about encouraging good behaviour, sleep, mealtimes, toilet training and more. The Plain English DVD uses menus which speak to give people the chance to slow down and stop for a while if they need to.
