‘My Health’ Training
Speakup are training health care workers as part of the ‘My Health’ training along with Sheffield Hallam University. Health care workers could be your GP, doctor, nurses, receptionists.
This training is led by people who have a learning disability.
It uses real life stories to show how people with a learning disability have been treated.
This training shows health care workers what small changes they can make so they can work and communicate better with people with a learning disability.
